VOTE TODAY, FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Dear Sentinel Family:DannyJr200x307

This is the day we have waited all of our lives for, our parents, grandparents and ancestors have been waiting for, and many of them died for.  We must go out and vote today!  Take a family member to the polls, take your children with you to the polls, to make sure that they understand the importance of voting and being a part of the political process.  As all of you know The Sentinel has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President, and we encourage you all to get out and vote for the once in a lifetime man who can lead this country back to greatness.

So get up, get out and Vote Today, for if not today when?

Sincerely,

Danny J. Bakewell, Jr.
President and Executive Editor

I've never followed a Presidential political camplaign, until Barack Obama. Now, I follow his movements. I have never made a donation to a political campaign, until Barack Obama. I have always voted, but I have never been excited or encouraged or even believed my vote mattered in a Presidential Campaign, until Barack Obama. It has always been politics beyond my ability to comprehend it all, until Barack Obama. It took me almost 49 years to feel like I can be a part of real change. Thanks for the video. I think its pretty excellent. It moved me to go back to Mr. Obama's website and make another donation. I'm not voting for Barack Obama because he is a Black man. I'm voting for him because he's believable and because of him, I now believe I can be a part of real change. God Bless.

Danny can you tell me why all of the Black Congressmembers supported Clinton over Obama? Did they sell us out? Do they know that their districts voted in support of Obama? Well we know! Obviously they are not aware that they were elected to work for us not the other way around. Should we do a recall in their districts to send a message because they went against the will of their constituents? Can you find out how much they got paid to support the Clintons over Obama?

Finally, I think it sends the wrong message to their constituents that they will sell us out for the right price.
