The City of Inglewood will receive $3.4 million in federal funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds will be used to continue programs that address affordable housing needs, assist homeless persons, provide adequate infrastructure-including street and sidewalk repairs, address fair housing issues, and support programs that enhance civic/community design, protection of environment, neighborhood preservation and economic development. Community meetings will be held to obtain citizen input on how the City of Inglewood should allocate these federal funds. Citizens are invited to participate in these meetings to learn more about the City’s community development programs, make comments or suggestions, and voice concerns. Community meetings will be held as follows: May 12, 7:00 p.m.
