Winner gets $2500 Educational Scholarship.

Think you can write a :30 second jingle?  The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is encouraging children to wash their hands to stay healthy. To help us spread the word, we are holding the "Clean Hands Jingle Contest" asking kids to create a song or jingle to motivate others to wash their hands.

Make a jingle about washing hands, have your son or daughter (age 10-21) sing it/rap it, and submit it - and they could win a $2,500 Educational Scholarship.  All entries must be received by August 20, 2008, 12:00 noon.  Log on to www.hot923.com for more information.

The main event will be held at The African Marketplace Sun, August 31, 2008 between 3-5 pm Rancho Cienga Park - Los Angeles where the winner will perform their jingle.

Ready to get more information.  Log onto http://www.hot923.com/common/cleanhands/cleanhands.php to get the official rules of the contest and get started.
