Community and Business Leader Marion Mitchell owner of C.C.O.P's and The Towne House Restaurant was found early this morning unconscious in her swimming pool.  Currently she is being held at the hospital in critical conditions.  Friends and business associates close to Ms. Mitchell are asking everyone "to please pray for Ms. Mitchell while the doctors do everything in their power to save her life".

Marian Mitchell has been a business leader throughout the Los Angeles Area as well as a power broker in political circles from Los Angeles to Washington D.C..  Ms. Mitchell also is a philanthropist often supporting a number of community programs without much fanfare and often making both financial and service support as a anonymous donor.

Everyone here at the Sentinel sends our prayers and support to Ms. Mitchell, her family and we are asking the community to do the same.
