CRENSHAW CHAMBER HOSTS FIRST 47TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT CANDIDATES FORUM

Being presented certificates of appreciation from the Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce, candidates to fill the Assembly seat being vacated by Speaker Karen Bass offered their plans for the 47th District during the first forum for the political seat during the Chamber's first general meeting last Thursday, January 21st in its new meeting location, Holman United Methodist Church, 3320 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles. Participating in the forum were (from left) Armed Ross, moderator; Rae Jones, Chamber vice president of Publicity; Reggie Jones-Sawyer, director, Asset Management overseeing management of $22 billion in leases for 800 city-owned properties; Holly Mitchell, chief executive officer of Crystal Stairs, one of the largest child care agencies in California; Robert Jones, partner and chief arbitrator with Jones & Parker, P.C., a business arbitration and mediation firm; and, Chamber CEO Michael Jones.
