Los Angeles’ AfricanAmerican community has kicked off a week’s worth of events in solidarity with the nation’s outrage over the death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin and the non-arrest of his killer George Zimmerman.  Following on the heels of a Sunday’s march and rally in Leimert Park, today, Los Angeles’ early communication drum, the Front Page show with Dominique DiPrima on KJLH-FM, continued another week of full coverage of the Trayvon Martin case with police procedures expert and retired L.A.P.D. officer Timothy Williams, Final Call reporter Brother Jesse Muhammad, and CNN analyst Roland Martin.

The cause of diabetes continues to be a mystery, although both genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise appear to play roles. While an estimated 14.6 million have been diagnosed with diabetes, unfortunately, 6.2 million people (or nearly one-third) are unaware that they have the disease.
