Sophisticated Silk, an award winning textile artist who has won the hearts of colleagues and fashion lovers all over the globe because of his quality innovative technique. He brings to the fashion world styles and silhouettes in various forms and designs.

Sophisticated Silk's clothing styles fit the price for his clients and does not call the outfit complete until the customer is truly satisfied.

He offers an exciting array of fashions from business suits to shawls and handbags. His shows have been noted for their bold outfits that enhance and celebrate the body.

On Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, Mr. C - Sophisticated Silk will hold an upcoming Fall/Winter Fashion Extravaganza at the Regency West, 3339 W. 43rd St., Los Angeles, CA. A Dessert Reception will begin at 3 p.m., followed by the fashion show at 4 p.m., with special guest, The Walker Sisters. There will be jazz, vendors, and door prizes awarded to some lucky ticket holders.

A runway will be set up allowing fashion conscious spectators to have close-up viewing of dazzling models, presenting acclaimed designer's signatures fashions.

Mr. C - also brings to the table billowy tops, lacy floral illusion skirts, ultra feminine dresses, beaded skirts, tunic camis, precision tailoring, lantern sleep-up sweaters, updated drape blouses, jagged edge slacks, off shoulder designs, evening attire, and loose breezy afternoon wear.

He puts his best foot forward and revel in the moment of recognizing designer's signature fashion statements that can be dressed up or down, with or without accessories, and changeable shoes for various weather patterns.

In his 25-years plus involvement in the community, he has received many awards and accolades, and has been featured in a number of newspapers and magazines.

He has given many organizations the opportunity to be a part of his fashion productions. In-turn, this has helped the fundraising efforts of organizations such as: Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta and Sigma Gamma Rho, both locally and out of state.

It's nothing to see sheer camisoles or evening gowns enlivened by a colorful mix of colors of lavishly beaded sheath suits and dramatically draped stoles.

Fashion statements have included jumpsuits, dresses of all styles, suits, two-piece outfits, scarves, all types of clothing for men, and women, tall, short, large, small and in-between. He continues to pave the way for fashion spectators so they may immerse themselves in eye-catching designs.

Willie White of Morris Brown is making a fundraiser for the upcoming event. Donation is $30.
