World famous entertainer Pattie LaBelle is taking her talents into a new arena, and she made a recent trip to the Macy's Home Store at the Del Amo Fashion Square to unveil her latest project.

LaBelle showcased her new line of bedding, which is the first product on her new home collection, which will be exclusive at Macy's. LaBelle has always prided herself decorating skills, and she wanted to extend her brand.

The bedding line has a contemporary look with bold colors, elegant patterns and soothing textures. The beddings that were showcased were similar to beddings that LaBelle has at her own home.

"I usually say what I feel in song, but now I'm saying it in bedding," LaBelle said.

This is just the beginning for her product line. LaBelle plans to come out with kitchen wear in the near future.

"I'm going to cover it all," LaBelle said. "Every room will have a Pattie touch."

LaBelle also promoted her cookbook, Recipes for the Good Life, which has a recipe for everybody.

"It is for people who want to get healthy, and it is also a book for people who do not want to get healthy," LaBelle said. "What ever you want, healthy or more elaborate cooking, you can find in my book."

LaBelle's fans that were on hand at Macy's lived up every moment of her appearance, and a number of lucky fans were able to take photos with the recording star.

LaBelle left her fans with a bit of good news, that she is in the studio recording new music.
