Patricia Johnson – Hill
Patricia Johnson – Hill lost 72 lbs

Patricia Johnson-Hill lost 72 pounds in seven months with the Cookie Congregation Diet System and her daily prayer.

"Every morning, I recite 'God's Creative Power' based on Romans 12:1 and I Corinthians 6:12.  It says, Father God, I don't desire to eat so much to become overweight.  I present my body to Christ.  My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which dwells in me.  I am not my own, I am bought with a price.  In the name of Jesus, I refuse to overeat. Body, settle down, in the name of Jesus, and conform to the word of God. I mortify the desires of this body and command it to come into line with the word of God."

Patricia's strong relationship with Christ fit perfectly with the spiritual aspect of cookie diet system, according to Rev. Dr. Clyde Oden, founder and CEO of Cookie Nation which operates the "The Cookie Congregation" program in stores and churches across the U.S.

"Prayer changes things and we teach our clients to use it when they face challenges or temptations. Patricia's weight loss is due to her incorporating much prayer in her lifestyle, and following the other 'pillars' of our program -- diet, exercise, and the plan for good health and wellness," he said.

Before joining the Cookie Congregation, Johnson-Hill said her weight fluctuated.  "At one point, I lost a considerable amount of weight, then, a death happened in my family.  I became depressed and before I knew it, the weight was back on.  I tried a few diets, taking pounds off, and gaining them back.  One day, I came to the realization, 'You're out of control!'"

Then, a friend called to share that he lost 85 pounds on the Cookie Diet System and invited her to try it.

Johnson-Hill joined on January 30 and lost 10 pounds the first week.  Feeling encouraged, she continued with the diet system and dropped two to five pounds every week, until one week she didn't.

"I felt discouraged because I only lost one pound; and another week, I just maintained my weight at the time. But, Dr. Oden explained that even maintaining was a success, so I stayed with it."

She followed the 1,000 to 1,200 calories diet of four cookies, 64 to 80 ounces of water, and dinner of lean protein, steamed or lightly cooked vegetables, and small salad.

"It's been a good program for me because I have a hectic schedule working from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. I can't always stop and really eat like I should.  So, I have my first cookie at 7 a.m., the next around 11 a.m., then the other two at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.  I eat my meal between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.," explained Johnson-Hill.

"I'm definitely pleased with the progress I've made and glad I didn't give up. Christ never gives up on us, so we shouldn't give up on things that will benefit us. If you want to lose weight and get healthy, try the Cookie Congregation Diet System.  It does work!"
