Last week we reported on a homeless man living in dignity underneath the 110 Harbor Freeway and a day after the article was published in the Sentinel City officials with the man power of Cal Trans moved swiftly to remove all of Eddie’s personal belongings.
The story hit at the heart of the homeless problem and drew an overwhelming response from Sentinel readers who now want to help find Eddie and secure housing for him. It was not our intent to bring harm to Eddie but instead to shed a light on one of many homeless people who do not suffer from drug or alcohol addiction or any mental illness.
If you or anyone know the whereabouts of Eddie please contact the Sentinel at (323) 299-3800.
