Something special happening at Staples Center

If there were ever a time to go down to Staples Center, now would be it, because the show that they are putting on is simply amazing.
The Lakers have won 16 of their first 18 games at Staples Center (that includes a road win against the Clippers), and most of those games they blew the doors off their opponent.
The packed to capacity crowds are leaving more than happy every night the Lakers play, and they end up on their feet often. If it isn’t Kobe Bryant making a spectacular play, it is Shannon Brown throwing down a monster dunk, or the Lakers going on a run to put the game out of reach… in the second quarter!
The only drama in the fourth period is whether or not the crowd will get their two free tacos when the Lakers win and hold their opponent under 100 points. Fans love the “We want tacos” chant, and the Lakers have been rewarding them. Lines have been pretty long at Jack in the Box after games.
This is looking like it will be a really special season for the Lakers. They already have a championship banner up from last season, and it looks like the only thing keeping them from repeating as champions is the Boston Celtics or an injury that sends Lamar Odom back into the starting line up, taking him away from the second unit.
The Phoenix Suns do not look like they will give the Lakers much competition. The Lakers have already destroyed them twice. The Denver Nuggets are still the same team from last year, and the Dallas Mavericks always fold come playoff time.
In the East, the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavilers are good, but they are no match for the Celtics.
The NBA Finals is already shaping up to be another heated series between the Lakers and Celtics and the arguments have already begun over who would win.
People in favor of the Celtics will point out that the Celtics have won on the road while the Lakers played 18 of their first 23 games at Staples Center. The Celtics started the season by winning 11 out of their first 12 road games.
Anybody questioning the Lakers stellar record because of all the home games will get a chance to see the Lakers hit the road. They are in the middle of a five game road trip, and 11 of their 17 games in January will be on the road, that includes an eight game east coast swing.
Any diehard Lakers fan that wants to get a good look at this team, now is the time because they will be hitting the road a lot in the near future.
