Darryl James launched the only Black owned rap music publication, Rap Sheet in 1992. James is an award-winning author ("Bridging The Black Gender Gap,"), He has released his first mini-movie, ("Crack"), and will release the ful-length “Black Love” in 2008. James wrote for the LA Sentinel from 1990-1994, and began syndicating his column ("The Bridge") in the paper in 2004, which can also be viewed at www.BridgeColumn.com.
