Mr Jackson: My brutha - you completely missed the mark on this article with that comment. It's almost from left field. This article doesn't merely say vote for Barack because he's black - it says vote for him because he's Black and because without question, he's capable.
And based on your comment, you're also either in denial or naive to the notion that in a side-by-side competition of identical qualities or philosophies, that a Black candidate is working in a level playing field as his/her White counterpart. That's actually something we should find absurd - considering NUMBERS are the driving force behind race issues.
This article pointedly speaks to the notion that of all races, it's only us "Self Hating" African American who "contemplates" or "ponders" over supporting someone who looks like us.
