I absolutely agree with your comments.
Some of us are acting like we are crazy simply because Mr. Obama is running for the highest office in the land.
Some of us act as if Mr. Obama should only be directing his attention to Black folk and their problems. Some forget that he will be President (and he will) to ALL of the people, and if one listens to his message perhaps we can all move forward in a more positive direction. Allow the man to get in the White House!
Dr. West and Mr. Jackson would do better to take care of their own issues like adultry, illegitimate children (and Dr. West's Illegitimate child is white) and stop trying to bring Mr. Obama down. Both of these men need to take heed to Mr. Obama's speech to Black men, and Jesse needs to grow some instead of trying to cut some off!
These men have made their contribution, and it is time for them to step back!
Mr. Obama took advantage of education, married a Black woman and fathered Black children of which he seems very much a part of their life as a father, and is now on his way to making history.
