What comparison are you drawing Cynthia? These two situations are not the same. Imus was NOT castrated in the media; he was admonished by the Black Community. Wright however was tried and convicted FALSELY in the media. The Black Community at large embraces him! In the end, the media treated Imus rather nicely despite his stupidity! (Hes got another talk show right?) Will Wright preach at your church?
And if this isn't clear to you - parts of Wrights statements were SENSATIONALIZED and intentionally made the focus of in a non-existent controversy (likely for ratings) and possibly for the purposes of impeding the progress the Barack Obama campaign - aka - for political purposes. I guess you think "Us Black Folks" are too stupid to see the difference between the two right?
