Radio One Sells V100 for $137.5 Million

It's not that Black people are moving out of Los Angeles, that's certainly NOT fact. There is just more competition in LA, not all Black people listed to quote on quote, Black Stations. IPOD, MP3 Players and satellite radio are making commercial radio a hard pill to shallow.

I really don't think that this has anything to do with money. The station was getting too popular of informing African Americans about what is really going on in our country. If it weren't for V100, I would of never known about the Jena 6 (at all). Even after many unanswered emails to my local stations for information. Who knows what else is going on.

This is just another way to keep the Black people ignorant about everyday life.

v100 was the only station my wife and i listened to regularly. good soul music! i am chicano and she is filipina, so the loss of the station is not only a loss for the black community although i understand the frustration. but remember, its the mormons not latinos who are taking over this station.

KJLH Morning Show and 100.3 - I agree with a previous poster the KJLH Morning Show is not funny or entertaining and I don't like the format since Cliff Winston left. Note to TPTB hire Cliff back. I'm not into the Thursday show either I love Stevie's singing, but don't like him as a DJ or any of the characters the one that does Aunt May especially gets on my nerves. Guy Black is self righteous too. I wish that 100.3 would come back the music was good, but I didn't particularly care for Diana Steele as a co-host. I love Michael Baisden although I don't always agree with his opinions!

I agree COMPLETELY with what the person above said, the beat never ever should have let John London and the HOuse Party go. Steve Harvey was funny but nothing compared to Little Eddie, attention deficit disorder boy. How much I MISS those days!!!
