Wake to the aroma of Greens and Black-eyed Peas!

You wont be able to sleep in, as your home is overcome with family.

Laughter from children and discussion from the elderly; blessed reality!

The men watching football, the ladies gossiping; a choice to enjoy camaraderie!

Deep Fried or Oven-Roast Turkey, the patriarch will proudly carve you a piece.

Be thankful for the time, the enjoyment, even the pouting child screams.

On this day, being thankful is a mental and physical theme!

Years ago Jim-Crow did not allow us to believe, later young Mr. King offered us a Dream! Today, President Barack Obama solidifies the possibility!
