Rev. Joseph and Sister Evelyn Curtiss

Easy and affordable Spanish classes start next month, announced the Rev. Joseph Curtiss, director of United Gospel Outreach (UGO) and the Rev. John A. Edwards, pastor of New Zion Chapel First Baptist Church.

“Rev. Edwards teaches Castilian Spanish throughout the city in several churches and schools. Learning to communicate in Spanish has become of epidemic importance,” said the Rev. Curtiss.

“Plan now to attend the upcoming sessions and equip yourself to better communicate in the Spanish community,” he advised.

Pastor Terrell Taylor and Park Windsor Baptist Church will host classes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting January 8 to March 12, at 1824 West 108th Street in Los Angeles.

Word of Life Bookstore will be the site of the sessions beginning January 9 to March 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 7225 South Main Street in Los Angeles. The Rev. Curtiss and Sister Evelyn Curtiss are the directors.

Pastor James Hardwell and Faith Jerusalem Baptist Church will open classes on January 11 to March 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at 12626 South Main Street in Los Angeles.
