Over 1,000 Clergy, politicians and community members witnessed the installation of the Rev. Xavier Thompson as President of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California on Feb. 18.

The service was held at Pastor Thompson’s church, Southern Missionary Baptist. Participants included (from left) Pres. Thompson, Dr. Jasper Williams, Jr., and Dr. Melvin Wade. (photo by Troy Tieuel)
