The Pop/R&B boy band hosts movie screening and gives free concert to promote their new All Around the World documentary at Universal City Walk.
Princeton, Prodigy, Ray Ray, and Roc Royal—collectively known as the band called Mindless Behavior—hit the red carpet Sunday to host their first major movie screening for their upcoming documentary, All Around the World. The documentary, which will be released March 15th, was followed by a free outdoor concert where the group performed in front of the 5 Towers at Universal City Walk.
The star studded documentary screening was well received not only by hundreds of fans, but a number of Hollywood notables including Russell Simmons and Holly Robinson Pete, both of whom made appearances at the event. Beaming with excitement, group members marveled at the event’s success while taking a moment to discuss the movie.
“It’s basically a story of our lives,” Princeton explains. “We’re excited that the fans are going to love it. We’ve been putting out bits and clips leading up to the movie, and so far the response has been great.”
MB fans will no doubt appreciate the upcoming movie, which chronicles last summer’s 25 city #1 Girl Tour—the band’s biggest headlining tour to date. The road-to-rising-superstardom style documentary will give MB fans a glimpse of the group’s lives and personalities as they tour around the country. With cameras following their every move, the popular group exposes viewers to their world through witty anecdotes, candid interviews with family members, and never before seen clips.
Adding to what is sure to be an exciting week for fans, MB will also release their sophomore album All Around the World March 12th, two days before the documentary is released. Moviegoers can expect to see the movie at select AMC theaters.
The Interview: Mindless Behavior takes a moment to answer some of the “reel” red carpet questions on their fans’ minds.
Sentinel: Who are you guys wearing today? You look amazing.
Princeton: Right now, this is actually one of the first times we’ve had a big event, and we got to choose our own personal style.
Prodigy: Honestly it’s hot today, so I just threw on a t-shirt.
Sentinel: What will your fans be able to see in this documentary that they wouldn’t ordinarily know about you?
Ray Ray: The personal side of Mindless Behavior and how hard we work. You’re also going to see us crying in the movie, which you never see.
Sentinel: You guys always have great hair. I’m sure the ladies would love to know what type of hair products you use and how they can get their hair to look like yours.
Ray Ray: I don’t know [he laughs]. My mom always buys it for me; I wish I knew.
Roc Royal: I believe the shampoo and conditioner I use is Suave, but the main moisturizer I use is Pink Moisturizer.
Princeton: I use Dove and Baby Lotion.
Sentinel: Do you guys have girlfriends?
Ray Ray: We’re all single, you know,” says Ray Ray. “We’re getting older now though—we’re 16 and 17—so we have friends that could potentially become girlfriends.
Sentinel: Are you guys still living at home or do you have your own mansions and Bentleys now?
Princeton: I have my own room finally [he jokes]. Not really. We have our own houses. On our off time since we’re always together, we try to keep it separate so when the bond comes back together it’s like Fantastic Four.
