A wide range of Christian Education classes to aid spiritual growth start next week at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

The two-track curriculum begins Tuesday, January 10, and Wednesday, January 11, at 6:30 p.m., at 2009 West Martin Luther King Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Inviting the community to attend, Pastor Sylvester Washington said, "Through our School of Evangelism, held on Tuesdays, we offer an introductory course designed to explain to the individual believer the basic Biblical principles of evangelism as set forth in scripture.

"This session will elevate participants to an appreciative level of discipleship and a point of personal Christian commitment."

Other classes in this track include Preparation for On-the-Job Training, Evangelism Practicum, Responding to False Doctrines, and An Approach to Evangelism Through Counseling Techniques and Group Counseling. The classes continue until Tuesday, March 13.

Additional 10-week courses are offered each Wednesday through March 14. The sessions are Assurance of Salvation, Training for Service, Survival Kit for the 21st Century and Ephesians. The instructors are Dr. John Williams, Mrs. Earlee Washington, Ms. Kathy Cash and Rev. Paul Peete, respectively.

Also on Wednesdays, Pastor Washington teaches a five-week class entitled ‘Demons Part I: How They Enter the Body.'

For detailed information on all classes, call the Pleasant Hill church office at (323) 293-6448.
