The Willamette Winery presents 66 Willamette Valley wineries in the City of Los Angles.
The Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA) brings their best wine to Los Angeles for the first time at their premier event ‘Pinot in the City.’ On September 11th, Oregon wine country takes over The Ebell of Los Angeles, showcasing the region’s award-winning wine with winemakers and owners on hand to tell their stories. There will be a trade event from 12 pm to 4pm and a consumer event from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Having presented their wineries in Chicago, New York, Seattle and San Francisco, ‘Pinot in the City’ offers the public of LA a chance to taste and purchase a diverse selection of wines.
This is event will be going beyond the wine itself allowing Winemakers and owners to present their wines and offer a “behind the scenes” take on one of the New World’s most lauded wine appellation.
The ‘Pinot in the City’ brings the thrill with “Willamette Wine Country Beyond Compare” that offers two nights and spa treatment at The Allison Inn & Spa as well as a winemaker dinner at the private chef’s table in Jory, the Inn’s world-class restaurant.
Not to be outdone, there will be a Lexus test drive vehicle, a winemaker dinner in the Dundee Hills, and private wine tasting at some of the Willamette Valley’s premier wineries plus an instant wine cellar of 120 bottles of Willamette Valley wines.
While Pinot in the City brings a unique tasting experience to Los Angeles, the getaway package submerses the winners into the heart of the Willamette Valley, blending the wine, food, personalities and scenery that make it so special.
The WVWA comes together for a higher purpose, partnering with a nonprofit organization Environmental Media Association (EMA) working with the media to educate the global public on environmental issues and motivate sustainable lifestyles.
“We are beyond excited to bring our road show experience to southern California,” said Sue Horstmann, Executive Director of the WVWA. “What’s more, we’re thrilled to be working with EMA, a group that shares Oregon wine country’s commitment to environmentally conscious leadership and development.”
Come out and experience Oregon’s finest wines.
