Rev. Desmond C. Lamb

Praise Sanctuary plans a ‘Spring Break-Through Revival’ to rejuvenate believers and equip them to overcome strongholds in their life.

The three-day revival is set for Wednesday, March 26, through Friday, March 28, at 6:45 p.m., at 10807 South Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.

Encouraging the public to attend, Pastor Joseph Peay said, “Our theme is ‘The Fight is On’ with the scripture reference of Ephesians 6:10-18.  Also, the Rev. Desmond C. Lamb is our revivalist and he will share powerful, life-changing messages each night.”

The Rev. Lamb is the pastor of Forest Grove Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS. Accepting his call to preach at a young age, he preached his first sermon at age 12 and was appointed pastor of Second Baptist Church in Odessa, MO, at age 21.

The. Rev. Lamb became pastor of Forest Grove at age 25 and has led the church for more than 15 years. During his tenure, he and the congregation built a new edifice to accommodate the growth of the membership.

“Our revival will feature Sister Karen Wiggins as the Praise and Worship Leader and Sister Myrna Irons of Kansas City as the guest praise dancer,” said Assistant Pastor James Pilcher.

“Also, we will provide rewards each night to those who bring the most guests,” he added Wednesday is designated as ‘The Fight Is On’ Night, Thursday will be Youth and Young Adult Night, and Friday is Family and Friends Night.

For more information, call Rev. Pilcher at (310) 748-3666.
