“Equipped, Empowered and Engaged,” even in deeply distressing times, is the message of the Annual Phenomenal Women’s Personal and Professional Development Breakfast and Conference hosted by the Business and Professional Women’s Federation of Southern California First Jurisdiction, Church of God in Christ. 

The conference will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the DoubleTree Hotel and Resort, Westside, 6161 Centinela Avenue in Culver City.  The ticket donation is $40.

Experts will provide practical tools via topics such as Maximizing your Influence, Strategic Career Planning, Business Development, Dynamic Organizational Leadership, as well as examples and opportunities for “doing well by doing good” and networking to transform the lives of others.

In this 100th Anniversary of Southern California First Jurisdiction, COGIC, presenters and special honorees will include Lady Lois Cole, vice president emeritus of the State Business and Professional Women’s Federation; the Honorable Judge Patricia J. Titus, Los Angeles Superior Court; Mrs. Colette Moore, owner of PrideStaff in Culver City; Mrs. Deborah Bright-Laney, President of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Realty Association; Mrs. Rhena Mayfield Smith, owner of The Glass Act; Ms. Murcedes Outlaw, director of the New Antioch CAAP;  Mrs. Gail Irving Dotie, chairperson of Daughters of Destiny; Mrs. Sharon Green, Victor Valley Family Resource Center; Ms. Malykah Howard, M.D.,  and Mr. Tyrone Spears, MBA.
