Some teams have already taken care of business heading into the final week of the regular season, but for a few teams, league titles and playoff spots are still up for grabs.

The biggest game of this week is Chaminade at Gardena Serra, with the Mission League title up for grabs.  Both teams are 4-0 in league play.

After a rocky start, Serra has pulled it together with some big victories, including a 70-21 victory over Harvard-Westlake a week ago.

In the Moore League, surprisingly Long Beach Cabrillo is still in contention with Long Beach Poly.  Poly is undefeated in league play, while Cabrillo only has one loss.  It would be really surprising if Cabrillo knocked off Poly to take the league title.

In the Del Rey League, undefeated St. Bernard (9-0) travels to Bishop Montgomery, who is undefeated in league play.  St. Bernard has been lighting up the score board, averaging 38.7 points per game while passing for 323.8 yards per game.  They have one of the best passing offenses in the state.

In the City Section, the leagues are pretty much wrapped up, but Fairfax and Westchester will be battling for a playoff spot.  Both teams have one league loss, so they will be playing for second place, because Venice is undefeated in the Western League, and they beat both Fairfax and Westchester.

The winner of the game will be a lock for the playoffs, the loser will be on the bubble.  Both teams may make it in, but it is better to lock it up now instead of waiting for the City's playoff selection committee make their decision.
