The officers and members of St. Andrews Missionary Baptist Church will recognize Bishop Alex Toussaint and First Lady Anjel Toussaint with a 20th year celebration during the month of October and the first Sunday in November.

"It is with great pleasure that we salute Bishop and Lady Toussaint. For twenty years, they have been dedicated, faithful, and committed servants of God to the people of St. Andrews and the community. Please plan to join us for this celebration," said Sis. Janis Pittman, Celebration Publicity Chair.

The month-long observance is hosted by the Deacon and Deaconess Boards of St. Andrews. The theme, ‘Our Pastor, A Servant of God, Who Said Here Am I, Send Me,' is based on Isaiah 6:8.

Kicking-off the celebration is a luncheon on Saturday, October 8 at 11 a.m., at the Doubletree Hotel, located at 21333 Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. The ticket donation is $40 and available through the church office.

Every Sunday, at 3:30 p.m., clergy and congregations from throughout the area will join the salute. Pastor Tyron Robinson of Kingdom Builders Christian Fellowship Church in Los Angeles will speak on Sunday, October 9. Bishop Kenneth Ulmer of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood will bring the message on Sunday, October 16.

On Sunday, October 23, Pastor Terry Elliot of Mount Zion Baptist Church in San Bernardino will be the guest preacher. The celebration will culminate on Sunday, November 6, with Pastor Roderick Walker of Tabernacle of Praise Baptist Church in Los Angeles.

St. Andrews is located at 1794 West 36th Place in Los Angeles. For information, call the church office at (323) 735-0201.
