Uche Holds Book Signing

Rev. Godfrey E. Uche, an evangelist and teacher of the Word, will sign his new book, ‘Looking Unto Jesus,' on Saturday, October 1, at 2 p.m., at Windsor Hills Christian Book Center, 4438 West Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles.

The book is designed to encourage those experiencing difficult times to turn to the Lord for relief and assistance. Inspiring guidance and scripture references are shared throughout the publication.

"Job 14:1 tells us that man that is born of a woman is of a few days and full of trouble. In other words, trouble is an integral part of man's entire existence here on earth. We do not look for short cuts to deal with the troubles of life," said Rev. Uche.

"The walk of faith for Christians should be daily, non-stop service, steady faith, continuously without stopping or looking for quick fixes. When we look for quick fixes instead of looking unto Jesus, our faith appears to be a swinging pendulum."

Rev. Uche received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas. He also earned a master's degree in Biblical Theology from Southern California Community Bible College.
