Mike Tyson is going to star in an episode of a new CBS reality show called “Same Name”. The former heavyweight champion will meet a male nurse having the same name as he does, and take his job for a day.

In a strange set of circumstances, World Boxing Council (WBC) President Jose Suliman has decided not to strip Timothy Bradley of the WBC Jr. Welterweight title for not taking the Amir Khan fight. While Khan remains the current title holder, Suliman has declared Bradley "still champion in recess so that he will have the doors of the WBC open for him when he is able to return while we declared the active championship vacant with the new champion to fight Bradley when he returns. As simple as that."

"Iron" Mike Tyson will be on this Sundays episode of CBS's new summer series 'Same Name," where celebrities trade their lives with total strangers that happen to share their same name. The former world heavyweight champion swaps boxing gloves for scrubs when he trades places with Mike Tyson from Zeeland, Michigan, and works as a nurse assisting low-income patients. Meanwhile, Michigan Mike gets an opportunity to try on "Iron" Mike's boxing gloves when thrown into the ring against a heavyweight champion for charity.

There's a new kid on the block who is now the WBA Super Bantamweight Champ and his name is Rico Ramos. He has ring record of 20-0 with 11 knockouts and he captured the title recently on July 9, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, by knocking out defending champion Akifumi Shimoda in the seventh round of a scheduled twelve round bout with a devastating left hook to the chin, putting Shimoda's lights out in the opening bout of an HBO "Boxing After Dark" telecast.

Ramos is a native of Pico Rivera, California, and had a storied amateur career with an impressive record of 97-17. He's currently being promoted by Goosen Tutor Promotions, and managed by Al Hayman and Sam Watson.

One of Ramos’ greatest shining moments in boxing was winning the Silver Gloves Championship.

And finally, we are all looking forward to the Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz bout scheduled for this September 17 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas. This will be Mayweather's long awaited return after a sixteen month lay-off. With his skills and talent, this shouldn't be that difficult of fight. We all shall see.
