Macedonia Hosts Annual Musical

Macedonia Baptist Church Inspirational Choir

The Inspirational Choir of Macedonia Baptist Church will present its 40th Annual Musical on Sunday, July 17, at 5 p.m., at 1751 East 114th Street in Los Angeles. Rev. S.D. Mays is the interim pastor, Mrs. Olivette Evans Hester is the music director, and Mr. Larry King is the program chairman.

The theme is ‘Celebrating God's Guidance: Through Song! Through Praise! Through Faith!' The scripture text is Hebrews 13:8.

"For over 40 years, our choir has been blessed through music under the spiritual inspiration and efficient leadership of Mrs. Hester. Her witness, dedication and love for the Lord has allowed her to lead this choir wisely and well throughout these many years," said King.

"The members of the choir, who have matured spiritually as well as chronologically, are anticipating this upcoming musical with much excitement. As no celebration is complete without the presence of friends and loved ones, we wholeheartedly invite all to come and share our joy and our thanksgiving," he said.
