The only thing in the world that never changes is change. Change is the only constant. Many people find it hard to subscribe to the Philosophy of the need for moment-to-moment course correction in life. Finding it easier to see stability as the norm and change as a problem. However, when you really really think about it. Every time we accomplish some thing and move ahead, we have to exchange the known conditions of life for uncertainty and unfamiliarity. See once we understand and overstand that life change, comes from inside out and that it is in becoming new that we achieve something new. We as humans seem to have a natural tendency to resist change. However, its unsmart to fight against it. I think we subconsciously believe that, it we have to change their must be something wrong with the way we are. Where as, the underline rational is not about right or wrong. The underline rational is about working or not working. The roots of change requires that we undo our habitual assumptions about what change is.
Change demands more then just establishing the knowledge that you should change. It's knowing within your deep soul you must change. Your conditions are not destined, change yourself change your conditions. You have to ask yourself, what it will cost me if I don't change. A lot of us are always estimating the price of change. Thus, fail to ask, what's the price of not changing? What is it already costing you mentally, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and relationship wise? How does your lack of change affect the people you love and that love you?
The great philosopher Nietzsche once wrote. "He, who has a strong enough why, can bear almost any How." Change is usually not a question of capability; its almost always a question of motivation. Sometimes or own resolve and will power are not enough to fuel change. We may need the transforming power of an alliance with other people who are doing what you are trying to do or, having the things you that you are trying to have.
I find consolation in the notion that if we can exercise patience, courage and wisdom the three virtues, change will come, my life movie bear witness. I only hope these fiery words I am using ignites your desire for change. The resources you need to change anything in your life resides within you.
