Coffee Klatch and Principal for a Day at Johnnie L. Cochran Middle School

On Friday, February 25th, Cochran Middle School hosted two outstanding events: First, Principal Scott M. Schmerelson's monthly "Coffee Klatch" (breakfast) where parents and guests were updated on current and future events taking place at Cochran and second, the annual "Principal for a Day" activity sponsored each year by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce featuring Gilberro Garcia, General Manager for Staples of Inglewood. Reciprocal plans are being made for Principal Schmerelson's visit to Staples where the two leaders will perhaps establish collaborative strategies between the educational and business communities.
