All those seeking a positive change in life may want to attend the ‘Miracle in March Revival’ which starts Wednesday, March 9, through Sunday, March 13, at Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 4678 West Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles, said Pastor Xavier L. Thompson.

The weekday services begin at 7 p.m. with preaching by Pastor Wayne Chaney Jr. of Antioch Church of Long Beach. On Thursday, the speaker is Apostle Ronald C. Hill of Love and Unity Christian Fellowship of Compton. Friday’s messenger is Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans.

“I saw a need for this revival due to the spiritual climate and what is going on in the world. Right in my congregation, people are losing their jobs. I have had multiple members lose their homes due to foreclosure, people’s cars are being repossessed and all of that takes a toll on one’s faith,” said Rev. Thompson.

“Everybody’s faith is not strong. When things of this nature happen, it makes people give up on God and wonder, ‘If God is a loving God, why is He allowing me to go through what I’m going through.’

“Miracle in March is about rallying people and challenging them to trust God for a miracle. The only admission is to expect a miracle that God will do something great in your life,” he said

The revival concludes on March 13, at 9:45 a.m., with a Healing and Deliverance Service. For information, call (323) 731-2703 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
