Christmas Motivation

Hello World, Christmas is just moments away, during this time of year motivation should be on everyone's list. Some of us are lost, missing that special person or persons to share love with. Some of us are pressured by our ego to live above our means, so the euphoria of spending will bring debt. What I hope to accomplish with this article is helping you the reader develop an intelligent approach to dealing with the issues associated with Christmas.

First, write down a word or a sentence on a 3x5 card. This word or sentence should read as an affirmation. For example, I carry a similar card in my pocket, it reads as follow; "You are today, what your choices were yesterday." I read this when I need to remind myself that excessive spending will only increase my personal debt. So, the gifts I buy for family and friends are not based on impressive cost.

Think of yourself as a person in the mode of positive progression. You will not be able to move forward in life if you foolishly place yourself in greater debt. Having bad credit can cause emotional stress that affects every area of your life. So, think of the long-term consequence before making high cost purchases.

Next, and this may seem weird to some, so in the privacy of your own personal space, be it the bathroom, the garage or your journal, either speak aloud or write to the love one you once shared special moments with. Tell that person your deepest thoughts with no apprehension. Don't be afraid to talk to those love one's who may no longer be with you. Even though you may not get a verbal response, the end result will be truly gratifying.

Now the reason I have combined Christmas spending and communication with past love ones is this; Christmas is a special time of year where depression is often suppressed by spending. Well, I think we should all focus on the positive aspects of Christmas, not the excessive cost. In my opinion, love and family are more important than any high cost present. Please think about the actual time shared with family and love ones. That type of incentive doesn't bare financial strain.
