Sentinel Spotlight Portfolio — Alysha Charon Conner

Alysha Charon Conner will be entering the 10th grade this fall at Palisades Charter High School. Conner is 15 years old and assists with the Executive Offices of the Sentinel.

She is on the JV cheerleading squad, going into her second year of cheering. Conner has also been an active member of her Girl Scout Troop for two years.

Conner describes herself as having a very strong passion for reading, journalism and writing poetry. She shared that this has been her interest since the 7th grade. She is also a student of the piano, having played the instrument for the past 5 years.

She plans on attending college with the aim of being a writer. Her focus of study will be in poetry, journalism and is even considering becoming an English teacher.
