She Loves Him

She loves him, as she recites to herself

in the mirror, hoping that soon their

affection will grow nearer.

She thinks of him throughout the day,

She wonders if he truly feels the same way.

Be confident, are the words she recites,

they are in part her affirmation, and when life is difficult, he brings her satisfaction.

She gives of herself more then she has

ever agreed before, she knows her love is pure

and hopes she is not insane from the

desire within her core.

She knows herself deeply and accepts that

she is out of control, her benevolent admiration

is beyond comprehension, yet only to those who know him more.

One day they will be together and that day is not fantasy yet true, a heavenly tour.

Some people tell her that "He" sounds

to good to be true. Occasionally she

second-guesses herself so she remains

optimistic and leaves the skepticism

for another to do.

When the banter becomes loud

and we call him a facade, she reminds

us all that his name is "God".
