The Greater New Bethel family is EXCITED to announce the celebration of Pastor, Earl A Pleasant's 34th Appreciation Service. The theme for this grand occasion is "Our Pastor, A Faithful Servant Led by the Grace of God", I Corinthians 15:10-11.

Pastor Pleasant is an exceptional man of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, a man who preaches an uncompromising Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaches the word with power from God.  Our Pastor leads by example, establishing a profound commitment to the work of missions and evangelism that those who are lost may be saved and receive all of God's promises.  GNB gives God the highest praise for blessing us with such an anointed man of God.

Our celebration begins Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 3:30 P.M.:  Special Guest, Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Dr. Melvin V. Wade Sr., Pastor and the Rising Sun Baptist Church, Rev. Johnny Newell, Pastor.  Sunday, July 11, 2010.  At our 10:45 A.M. worship service Rev. Vernon Horner, Pastor of the Greater New Bethel Baptist Church, Memphis, TN will be the guest speaker.  At 3:30 P.M.:  Special Guest, Faithful Center Bible Church, Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, Pastor, New Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Melvin Hill, Pastor and Greater New Bethel Baptist, Rev. Vernon Horner, Memphis, TN, Pastor.  The celebration will culminate on Sunday, July 18, 2010.  At our 10:45 A.M. worship service Dr. F. D. Sampson, Pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church, Houston, Texas will be the guest speaker.  At 3:30 P.M.  Our Special Guest will be, Paradise Baptist Church, Dr. A.D. Iverson, Pastor, McCoy Memorial Baptist Church, Dr. R. A. Williams, Pastor and Friendship Baptist Church, Dr. F. D. Sampson, Houston Texas, Pastor.

This year's celebration is very special to the GNB family; our Pastor has announced his retirement after 35 years of pastoral service.  We cordially invite every member and friend to come and worship with us as we honor this great man of God.
