I rise in the A.M. hours before the Sun awakes

I am square by choice and sleep I'll never chase.

For eight hours I read, I write, I answer to responsibility.

If I remain, twenty years from now I can achieve anonymity.

I desire the smell of honeysuckle from the soft skin of a factious friend.

I come home to walls that secure a negative space

It for me promotes hate.

If I remain those walls will provide refuge not harmonious; just a place to break before the next day.

Alcohol cannot coat my fears

Drugs will not contain my tears.

To engage would weaken me and that I will not adhere.

I am in possession of my needs yet in loss of my wants.
