GLAAAC Statement regarding Job Creation Proposals Rejected by State Senate Committees

The failure of two Senate committees to pass legislation today that would create needed construction jobs and stimulate investment in our communities belies understanding. Given California's economic crisis, this inaction is just plain wrong. The Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC) urges Democrats and Republicans alike to set aside politics, roll up their sleeves and work together to take quick action to generate jobs.

For more information, please contact the GLAAACC office at 323-292-1297.
