My Opinion

By Alfonzo Tucker

One's path to appropriate happiness is through education.

Yet there is always a stipulation, fear of true gratification.

For some utopia lies within inappropriate stimulation

That is dystopia, aggravation the opposite of self preservation, leads to damnation.

Would Forest Long have coined the slogan, "A Mind Is a terrible thing to waste", if he felt that "Ignorance is bliss"?

Education is limitless, again a means to appropriate happiness.

Thought has no boundaries yet free will creates objective monstrosities.

Example; when a bullet loses its velocity it can not penetrate anything. So why does one with a gun feel invincible? My opinion, truly inconceivable, thought dwells within motion, an endless penetration of existence. So what is more powerful than thought?

"Self", the creator of thought! Our higher power has bestowed upon mankind the ability to comprehend education, true satisfaction.

Dr. Frederick D. Patterson and other historical black colleges and university presidents incorporated "The United Negro College Fund".

Yet there is always a stipulation, one can only enjoy appropriate happiness if they allow themselves the gift of education.
