Sean Healey Presents

"Got Talent" should be the slogan for this gentleman Sean Healey, who is the heart beat of keeping hip hop alive and readily available to the public and the those who want to open up for big act performances. I was interested in Sean because of his ability to respect and highlight the talents of some of our most active acts in the business. Sean believes that if he were to survive in this game called hip-hop he would have to highlight the big man and the smallest man on the food chain.

Keeping hip-hop alive is a twenty four hour a day job for this small but powerful enterprise that is the brain child of Sean who feels that hip-hop and freedom of speech is number one with him and his crew over at the Sean Healey office. After speaking with this brother for a few moments I detected that he was the person that the west coast definitely needs to keep the sound of our craft in the ears of the people. I have seen the likes of Too Short and others bought to us by Sean Healey Productions.

I wanted to know from this man why was it important to have a person of his caliber involved with giving C.P.R. to the West Coast hip-hop game. He stated that his feelings about West Coast rap would never change because he feels that the best is yet to come. One good thing I can say about this small powerful company is that they have the best interest of the public in mind when it comes to their safety.

They go the extra mile to make sure that the people who are booked on his show is aware of the No Violence policy that he has in place for groups that may oppose one another who are not in the same act at the same time. In the event that something like that occurs Sean has a intervention and prevention component in place to help curtail some of the madness that might manifest itself to the public.

This small powerful network of hip-hop heads believe in the freedom of expression along with providing opportunity for the small man in the world of big fish. Sean said to me that he started his business as a way of allowing people the freedom of speech that they deserve and consequently this music thing turned into a lifetime of labor and great vehicle of entertainment.

Why do I believe in this guy so much is what I have been asked by the haters. Well my answer to them is that he has the heart to do what others have failed to do. I believe that with someone like a Sean Healey we can get the chances we need to perhaps bring forth another Tupac or Biggie.

We should continue to support the concepts of Sean--his hard work and dedication to our heritage and lifeline, which is music. Now just so you will know the facts as to why this is so interesting is because Sean Healey is from another community that has no color or prejudice. He is of Caucasian decent with a ghetto soul and desires to advance the music of today without any reservations at all.

Sean we support your ideology and concepts of making sure that the craft is protected and working to the next level of advancement in the game. To me West Coast rap is not dead it has been given C.P.R. by the Sean Healey's crew of master hip-hop saviors.

So let us support Sean Healey and with God's permission we will be able to do bigger business in the future with the rebirth of a non-violent summer jam event with talent from all over including some of our greatest hoods that have a lot to offer in the world of hip-hop music and culture. After speaking with Sean about the prospects of bringing it all back to the Forum, he was with it. After all Sean has no problem allowing the little man a chance to eat.
