Sentinel Prep Football Top 10

- Nick Koza for Sentinel

This will be the last poll of the season as playoff starts tonight in the City and tomorrow in the Southern Section. Good luck to all the teams involved.

1. Crenshaw (10-0) -

Something tells me Birmingham won't hold Crenshaw to a touchdown tonight like they did in the 2007 semifinals.

2. Serra (10-0) -

All that matters is the Cavaliers getting a third shot at Oaks Christian - Oak Park? They're just standing in the way.

3. Carson (8-2) -

Colts will finally gallop with one of the fastest in the City in Santee's Tevin Carter.

4. Culver City (9-1) -

Can Dominguez slow down the Cenatuars? Maybe if they had Hercules in their huddle.

5. Venice (9-1) -

Time to wake and smell the sea salt, the Gondos are, ready to set sail and prove themselves in the City playoffs.

6. Taft (6-4) -

No one likes a shaky bullfighter but the Toreadors could find confidence in a potential rematch with San Pedro in the second round.

7. Centennial (7-3) -

Somebody better bring Sugarhill Gang's "Apache" to their home game against Harvard Westlake. Could be a hot game of the week.

8. San Pedro (7-3) -

The Pirates got a little luck via coin flip for second place and Dorsey has to pay the price heading down there.

9. Narbonne (5-5) -

A dangerous No. 11 seed but which Gaucho team will show up in the playoffs? The ones who beat Orange Lutheran or the one who got caught slipping against Banning.

10. Dorsey (7-3) -

Can someone give the Dons keys to figure out a tricky "Locke" - second straight year the Saints left them without a prayer heading into the playoffs.
