Award-winning artists and three dynamic choirs ignited the KJLH stage during the 4th Annual Taste of Soul Festival.

Music by the Grammy winner BeBe Winans, singer Yolanda Harris, Antoich Church of Long Beach Choir, Greater Zion Church Choir, and Kingdom Worship and B. McCargo Choir had the huge crowd clapping, shouting, dancing and praising at the north end of Crenshaw Blvd.

Broadcaster Aundre Russell of KJLH's Spread the Word served as M.C. along with legendary deejay Roland Bynum and award-winning recording artist Eric Benet as celebrity guest host. Together, they led the audience in cries of "Hallelujah" and "Praise the Lord" throughout the morning.

"I'm excited and proud to sing at Taste of Soul," said Pastor Wayne Chaney, Jr. of Antioch Church whose 50-voice choir sang two powerful numbers.

Rev. Michael Fisher of Greater Zion was on fire for Christ, moving with energy and excitement while directing his choir in songs from their latest album.

Attired in bright orange shirts emblazoned with the choir's name, Kingdom Worship and B. McCargo captivated listeners with their selections.

Also, Yolanda Harris made her debut performance at the Taste of Soul. She sang "For I Know," a popular gospel song heard around the airwaves.

M.C. Russell blew the crowd away with two surprises. First he called to the stage, Shanae, a 10-year-old prodigy who sang a soulful rendition of "Amazing Grace." Then, screams filled the area as Eric Benet shared melodies of his most popular hits.

BeBe Winans rounded out the gospel artists on the KJLH stage. He and Erica Campbell of Mary Mary beautifully harmonized on, "Close to You," the reunion duet recorded with sister, CeCe Winans . The single is #1 on the gospel radio charts.
