Fox Eleven Good Day L.A Has A Taste Of Soul

We embark upon our fourth Taste of Soul event, which is the brain child of our owner and friend of many communities Mr. Danny Bakewell, who thought welcoming everyone from everywhere is an opportunity to get a taste of soul with a New Orleans twist. Then the aroma of this event reached the nostrils of our great and very talented team over at FOX 11's Good Day L.A. with Steve "Brother Man" Edwards, along with Dorothy and of course Ms. Taste of Soul Jillian Barberie.

People let me tell you that you don't want to miss a chance to vibe with this group of people who are hip, sharp and when you add the flavor of Dorothy you get more spunk and texture. Every morning they offer their fair reality show based news and entertainment from a real time perspective. I really respect this team and welcome them as the official family of news in the hood and beyond.

This team is full of fair practice and balance in the face of all that we are dealing with in the news these days. I can really say that they are a group of people who have a taste of soul and the talent to back it up. I know personally because I worked on air as a talent with them for many years and they never once dropped the ball on me.

When you see them it should reminds me of when I first got into the business. We as a community was fighting to show that we were worthy of great things, so it was decided back in 1992 that we, the taste of soul community would have a shot at being a part of Fox 11's news team Good Day L.A.

Thanks to Josh Kaplan the executive producer and a young beautiful lady named Yvette Grady who believed in me. Then came the silent warrior who is like the Charlie of these two angels and a scholar. Mr. Jose Rios, the news director and personally that rolls down hill. This man has supported the community for many years and he is serious about making sure that all of his viewers are included in the making of this great show.

Maybe one year we can honor this great team of people with our support of them and their families by making them the network of choice for the Sentinel and its many viewers that they get up every morning to entertain and smile for.

Well thanks Good Day L.A. for your love and for of course Jillian who is so down to earth she could have been a flower. And she is truly a treasure. WHAT UP HOMIE. Steve can you please play that funky music White boy. I peep your drum game. You are definitely straight from the streets. By the way Steve you have taught us men a lot about how to deal with the one woman that we may have in the morning but you can handle two at four thirty in the morning. You are my homie. Good Luck..
