In addition, Rev. Wright and the New Vision family are proud to announce that the distinguished Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., Pastor Emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago Illinois, will be the preacher of the hour. Rev. Dr. Wright, spiritual and social leader, educator, author and lecturer leaves a legacy of a membership of more than 10,000, which offers 70 active ministries. An outspoken community leader, Wright has made political and social activism a key aspect of his church's mission. His commitment to the kind of social ministry inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., coupled with his dedication to the African-American sermonic tradition, has made him a highly sought-after speaker nationally and internationally. Author of four books, Dr. Wright holds a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary and Master's from Howard University and the University of Chicago Divinity School. He was honored as

#2 of Ebony Magazine's 15 Greatest Black Preachers.

Rev. Ronald L. Wright, states that the three-day Black History Revival will take place from February 2-4, 2009 at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at

7900 S. Western Avenue. Services begin each night at 7:30 p.m.
