Hello World, another day closer to Christmas and I hope all of your travels have been safe. This article is for those who may be spending Christmas alone this year. Those people who have no family, or those of you who are dwelling in a place where the smell of pine trees and sweet potato pie doesn't exist. Some of you may not have the pleasure of reading this article, let alone rest in front of an open fire and discuss various topics with your love ones. So, for those who read these words, pass them along in good sprit. Please do not consider this time a negative. Whatever your situation is, be optimistic, as I believe positive energy breeds a positive future.
I recall times in my past where my biological father held a glass pipe to his mouth inhaling smoke made from cocaine mixed from sodium bicarbonate. Those moments that afforded him euphoria, forced me to rest in an environment where there was no running water or electricity, not to mention a Christmas tree or presents. Because of those moments I've developed an appreciation for reciprocity.
If you must, imagine a time or place when you experienced delight. If only for a moment, take yourself away from the present and allow all of your hopes and dreams to be at rest within your hands. I've practiced this within meditation and felt the positive affects of powerful thought. I believe the nature of man is good, so if your past behaviors are the opposite, try understanding why you made those decisions and practice different behaviors. The words are easy to say, yet, the physical practice is difficult. So began with allowing your self a moment of peace.
Don't worry about situations that you no longer have control over. Think about the positive future that rest within your hands. Think about the ability you have with your mind to channel all of your energy in a constructive direction. Absolutely no one can take away your ability to use the power of thought (Noesis). Find within yourself a moment to combat loneliness, anger, frustration, financial issues and insecurities that could lead to unhealthy thoughts.
It doesn't matter where you are; if, you are in an area where the noise is an octave below deafening or the silence does not breed peace. Allow your most positive desires to channel your thoughts. However you wish to do it, what is most comfortable for you (standing, setting or lying down). I practice this myself and say the following, "fear not judgment or life, workout, read and write." Discover your own mission statement and repeat that as an aid to your metal and physical well-being.
