LAS: What is your name and what is your ministry?VL: I‘m Vicki Lee and I walk in the office of an Apostle. I oversee three ministries at this time. Saints Of Value (S.O.V.), started in 1997, is a Ministerial Training Center designed to pull out the gifts and talents in the body of Christ. S.O.V. is a spiritual gym where people come in and exercise the gift of preaching, teaching and learning all aspects of ministry. We offer workshops to earn intern credentials and ministry licenses
Come Together International, founded in 2008, is a ministry for smaller ministries to network together as a support group. The Youth Explosion Center, born in 2011, mentors, develops and trains children, teens and young adults in technology, life skills, and artistic talents. We provide community field trips, after school programs and Friday Night special events.
LAS: How long have you been in the ministry and how did you get started in it?VL: At the age of 5, I began singing with my grandmother, Annie Robinson, who worked with the Brother Henderson Gospel Radio on Central Avenue.
LAS: What role has God or your faith played in your ministry? VL: God has and is supernaturally leading me in everything I do.
LAS: What are some of your most memorable moments during your ministry?VL: In 1988, I was at a concert in Will Rodgers Park featuring football star Rosie Greer, Helen Baylor and Earl V. I watched God perform a miracle. We had enough hot dogs for about 100 people, but when we began to feed the community, the lines were so long, yet we never ran out of hot dogs. We didn't even realize until it was over that God multiplied the hot dogs supernaturally.
Then, last year while in a prayer group of seven people, I began to pray for my son and spoke out some things by faith. Suddenly, there was a wind that blew my son's hair and three of us heard the angel's wings and two heard the wind. We all experienced the presence of God!
LAS: What are you doing or working on and what are your future goals? VL: I am kicking off a new TV studio and TV production workshops, writing a book, working on the Youth Explosion Center and preparing to purchase our building.
