Multi-talented singer, rapper, actor, Cover Girl spokeswoman Queen Latifah rocked the house Saturday night as she took fans on an eclectic musical journey while making history at the same time. As headliner for this year's 26th Annual Long Beach Gay Pride Festival Queen Latifah is making her first appearance at a gay pride event. Thousands of adoring fans crowded into the main stage area to celebrate the Queen's presence in Long Beach. ''I am happy to be here partying with my family'', she said as fans roared their approval, at times chanting ''Latifah, Latifah''. Fans stayed on their feet singing and dancing along to Latifah's hit songs interspersed with covers ranging from Al Green's ''Simply Beautiful'' to a string of Bob Marley reggae favorites. It was a night to remember and as Latifah left the stage she told the crowd ''I'll see you next year''. Many are hoping she will do just that..
