Hard work, dedication and commitment have been constant themes throughout Ryan Hollins’ 6 year NBA career and, prior to embarking on his 7th, he returns to his hometown of Pasadena, CA to give youth an opportunity to learn the same core values.

This coming Monday - Wednesday (July 30th - Aug 1) Ryan Hollins, who recently signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, will be hosting his annual basketball camp for youth ages 7-17 at John Muir High School in Pasadena, where he graduated from.

The Ryan Hollins Basketball Skills Camp’s mission is to help youth learn discipline, cooperation, goal setting, strong work ethic, establishment of moral values, teamwork and the productive mechanisms of team sports.

The camp helps to foster a sense of self confidence by emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, staying in school and saying no to drugs and alcohol. The 3-day camp consists of lectures, basketball stations, games and contests, an awards ceremony, a camp T-shirt, photo and autograph opportunities. Camp participants will also have a chance to interact with professional athletes and community leaders.

The cost of the camp is $50, but there are scholarships available for families with need.  For campers with a need for scholarship please have them email their information to This email address is being protected from spambots.
