News Tameka Reportedly Plans to Appeal Custody Ruling
Usher Raymond was awarded custody of his two sons in a long and bitter battle between the singer and his ex-wife Tameka. But according to TMZ, Tameka is already planning for her appeal.
According to the celebrity news and entertainment site, Tameka recently found out that Usher’s lawyer’s law firm threw an election fundraiser back in 2008 for the judge who presided over the trial. She reportedly feels the connection may have influenced the ruling.
The site said that Tameka was blindsided by the decision because she argued in court that Usher is constantly on the road, where as she has the more stable schedule.
TMZ says that Tameka plans to fight the decision and is currently interviewing lawyers for an appeal.
