LPH Convenes ‘Building Men of Purpose’

The Annual Men’s Conference sponsored by Bishop Leon Martin and the Mighty Men of Valor Ministry of Love, Peace and Happiness Family Christian Fellowship Church (LPH) starts Wednesday, September 5, and continues through Sunday, September 9, at 11022 Old River School in Downey.

“This year will prove to be one of the greatest inspirational, heart searching and motivational conferences of all times for the men,” said Bishop Martin, who will be a featured speaker along with Minister George McDowell, Elder Isaac Thompson and Minister Rayford Elliott.    

The weekday agenda includes evening prayer at 6 p.m., followed by the Men’s Celebration Services at 7:00 p.m.  On Saturday, September 8, the Men Only Conference Breakfast begins at 9 a.m., with Bishop K. Donnell Smith, Sr., of Greater Chosen Temple Christian Fellowship of Los Angeles as the guest speaker.

“You don’t want to miss this powerful gathering of men from across the city to make changes in this generation.  Ladies are also invited to join us,” added Bishop Martin.
